Three Talking Points for the Revs’ Battle at Buck Shaw

1. No SJ in SJ

As reported yesterday, Shalrie Joseph has not made the trip to Northern California, as his hip flexor injury continues to persist. Though his name has yet to appear on the score sheet for New England, his excellence in holding the ball in the second half against TFC allowed Sainey Nyassi and  Chris Tierney to make wide runs and generate chances at goal. Pat Phelen is most like to replace Joseph, though I’d prefer to see Emmanuel Osei make the move to midfield, allowing a healthy Darrius Barnes to replace him at center back.

The Rebellion offers an alternative supporter's group for Revolution fans.

The Rebellion, the Revolution’s newest supporter’s group, has already begun to change the complexion of the Fort one home game into the 2010 season.  Along with last year’s addition of La Barra Latina de la Revolucion, the Revolution supporter’s section now hosts four groups in total, all of whom seek cohesion within the Fort, and aim to spread their passion and exuberance throughout the stadium.  Kyle Santos, founder member and leader of the Rebellion, was kind enough to answer Six States, One Blog’s questions via email.
