The Revs’ updated injury report has been released, and it carries some good news.

Kevin Alston and Cory Gibbs have both been upgraded to probable.  The duo didn’t play in Wednesday night’s 3-0 loss to the New York Red Bulls after having been listed as questionable on Tuesday.  The report indicates that the two defenders should be good to go tomorrow night.

This is good news for a club that has its seen a lot of injuries in its defense in the last week.  Emmanuel Osei (leg infection) and Darrius Barnes (midfoot sprain) are both still listed as out, but on Wednesday the Revolution played only one natural defender (Seth Sinovic) in the absence of Alston and Gibbs.

Kyle McCarthy tweets that Shalrie Joseph and Edgaras Jankauskas will both be listed as questionable in this week’s early injury report as the Revolution prepare to hos the Colorado Rapids this Saturday.  We’ll have more for you as soon as the Revs release their full injury report.
