Today’s  Revolution injury report is now available to the public.

Edgaras Jankauskas has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable. Jankauskas is starting to be labeled by most as a bust, or at least a disappointment, but the Revs are in desparate need of anybody who can score. Perhaps he’ll help the club put the ball in net for the first time in 5 matches when New England hosts New York this weekend.

As Saturday night’s match against the Colorado Rapids approaches for the Revolution, the status of striker Edgaras Jankauskas, who’s yet to make his season debut, has become one of the game’s bigger subplots.  In this video, he and Nico Colaluca, a former Rapid who is also on the mend, talk about how they’re feeling.

Is Jankauskas ready to go in 2010?

Revs striker Edgaras Jankauskas has been participating heavily in training this week.  On Tuesday, he was listed as a full participant, and on Wednesday, the Lithuanian striker assisted on a nifty play in an 8-on-8 scrimmage.

Through only four matches, it’s tough to really gauge the Revs’ offensive attack.  Five of the club’s six goals come from two players, one of whom has seen very little playing time this season (Kenny Mansally, who scored two against DC United in the match’s second half).  Rookie forward Zack Schiwalski is responsible for three more, all recorded within fourteen minutes of the Revs’ 4-1 victory over Toronto FC.  Aside from the small number of scorers, the season’s sample size at large is still far too small to make any claims.
