The New England Revolution peaked at third in ESPN’s SoccerNet Power Rankings after their 4-1 victory over Toronto FC on April 10.

Since, the club has not won a match and their position in Jeff Carlisle‘s weekly MLS ladder reflects this downward spiral, now a month long.  They are now ranked 14th out of the club’s 16 teams.

The Revolution have again fallen in ESPN SoccerNet’s MLS Power Rankings.  Jeff Carlisle this week ranks the club tenth following its 2-1 loss to the Colorado Rapids.

Carlisle says:

A lack of possession continues to plague the Revolution.

Having reached the third spot in last week‘s ESPN’s SoccerNet Power Rankings, the Revolution fell back quite a ways this Monday and are now smack in the middle of the MLS pack at number 8.  Saturday’s disappointing loss to the San Jose Earthquakes certainly seems to have quelled a lot of the enthusiasm surrounding the team.
